The Kansas City Museum collects, preserves, and interprets Kansas City’s local and regional history through programs, exhibitions, and events that illuminate and celebrate Kansas City’s past, present, and future. The Museum is located at 3218 Gladstone Blvd. in Kansas City, Missouri’s Historic Northeast community.
The Kansas City Museum is in a planning process for future renovations (view design plans>>). During this time, the grounds and only the first floors of Corinthian Hall (mansion) and the Carriage House are open to the public Wednesday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, the Kansas City Museum offers Free Docent-led Tours of the first floors of Corinthian Hall and the Carriage House. These tours begin in the Carriage House. Visitors learn about the history and legacy of the Long family and of the Kansas City Museum. Visitors enjoy seeing remaining, original interior architecture alongside spaces in process for historic restoration and rehabilitation. In its current state, the Museum reveals visible and enduring traces of the past, as well as the promise of what is to come.
Currently, there are no exhibitions on display at the Kansas City Museum. The next exhibition at the Kansas City Museum opens on October 8, 2016 and explores the history and legacy of the Kansas City Fire Department.

The Kansas City Museum is operated and managed by the City of Kansas City, Missouri Parks and Recreation Department.
