Located just off of 3-Trails Crossing Memorial Highway in the heart of the historic 3-Trails Corridor, Trailside Center provides resources for trail and civil war aficionados, historians, and the Kansas City community.
The Trailside Center is staffed with volunteers in cooperation with KC Parks and the KCMO Department of Neighborhood and Housing Services.

(Trailside Center Parking Lot Concepts)
The meeting was attended by various neighborhood groups and governmental organizations, Councilwoman Alissia Canady, Councilman Scott Taylor, and Councilman Kevin McManus. City Staff reviewed possible concepts for improving the parking lot on the northeast corner of 99th Street and Holmes Road.
We have attached the concepts presented and please comment on what you would like to see incorporated into the proposed parking area at the NE corner of 99th Street and Holmes Road. CONCEPT 1
This concept maximizes the parking available to the site while providing minimal landscaping; primarily screening for the adjacent residential properties.
CONCEPT 2
This concept reduces the parking area while providing a programmable green space between the parking lot and the corner of 99th Street and Holmes Road.
CONCEPT 3
This concept is very much like CONCEPT 2. An additional ten parking spaces are added and the gathering space and native planting areas are reduced to make room for the additional parking.
